Sign of the scorpion, she's been stung before. You will hear her roar. It sounds loud as a cat's meow. Though softly spoken, you'd be wise not to ignore. She'll find her way inside, and leave all of her things behind.
She can walk a mile in the rain, she will never complain, although her face kinda looks that way. You can try to pinch her til she bleeds. She will never concede, still gives you everything that you need. You haven't seen all that she's got, only about twenty percent. It makes you wonder what she meant.
She may be golden, but she'll never be mine. Well, I guess that's fine. We still had a good time. And here she comes again, trying to make you feel good, as if you even could, when there's no reason why you should.

Part of the problem is the day just ends too soon. You stay awake at night, and throw your money at the moon. It's not a matter of if, but when. It's either gonna be 'us' or 'them.'

Still, by day you're far apart. I can't shake the feeling that there's something missing. Catch a fleeting glimpse, and all of your innocence melts away before me. Play the roles we have to play. We can't behave like animals, now can we?
