When you were young, you dreamt your life was a fantasy. You'd find yourself swept off your feet by some kind of royalty. You grew up thinking that true love comes unexpectedly, like in the movies when everything works out eventually. But as the lights come up after the show you look around and find you're sitting alone, so... It's the next best thing til you find your one true love. Years have come and gone and they brought you down to earth, but don't despair. You still may share in all that you are worth. A diamond ring and a limousine on your wedding day, with your prince at home to have and to hold just like the stories say. He'll give you love that's sincere, but right now it's just the two of us here, so... I probably won't buy you flowers or recite you poetry. It's not the love of a lifetime, it's only temporary. Although I don't have a fortune, I'd do my best to try to make you feel like all of your needs have been satisfied. And when the money runs out, you won't have any reason to doubt you got me. I'll make the loneliness not so terrible until you walk with him down the aisle. And he may put you upon a pedestal. I wanna get you off for a while.

You wanna mess with me? You're gonna be sorry. You wanna piece of this girl? You don't stand a chance. If you think you can hang, you don't know who I am. If you want me around, you can call me Lobster Tits. You're either coming with me, or you'll be all alone. We're either doing it my way, or we do it not at all. You can try to persuade. You can cry, you can beg. If you think I will change, then you don't know Lobster Tits. In the palm of my hand, you're so small you can fit. For the rest of your life you belong to Lobster Tits.

Your mother was here this morning, and she'll be here tonight, cuz she's gonna sleep with me, baby. And I say baby cuz you're five years old and you don't have a father. That makes you a bastard. You are a bastard, baby. Baby, you're a bastard. I have to work for my money. Excuse me if I don't care. It seems like you're getting it all for free. If you really wanna know what I think, there's already too many kids like you, living off of welfare. I know it's not your fault that your mom got pregnant to pay lower taxes. That's just the way it had to be. You suck on your thumb so often, that everyone thinks you're gay, but I know there's more to the problem. Your absent father left you all alone with abandonment issues and nothing to depend on. I'm drunk, but I'm telling the truth and you know you gotta hear it from someone. Now go pick up your Barbie dolls. They can't just lie around naked like I do. Tell me, what would your father say if they ever let him get out of jail? What would your poor daddy say if he saw me in the bed with your mom?

Someday you might have somewhere that you belong to, that you call home, and you'll be surrounded by things that hold you right where you are. I won't be around then. There will be one less hick in this shit town. Don't get buried underneath all the comforts that you keep. Me, I'm hanging by a string, one paycheck away from starving. You're not paying attention if you think they don't have you by the balls, locked into the system, hooked on a promise of a reward for your good behavior. Like so many before us, we will be bled dry. In the race to make ends meet, there's no choice but to compete. He who toils earns his bread, all the rest as good as dead. Same as any boss or any lover, before they let you quit they'll make you suffer. Let's give em a raincheck, and drink through our wages. All of these dead ends, they ain't gonna pave themselves. Let's go cuz I'm restless, impatient and reckless. Sick of your prudence, I would rather crash and burn. Soon I'll be someplace where I know can't be found, and there will be one less hick in this shit town.
